Golden Hour Grooves in Eagle, CO

Eagle Town Park on the last night of July was the definition of a "Colorado Summer". We took the stage for a hefty two-hour set, and the scene was exactly what we love about playing the mountains. The field was a sea of camping chairs and blankets, packed with locals, friends, and families soaking up the final rays of the July sun.

We really got to stretch our legs with two hours to play. We mixed a heavy dose of our own BetaRay originals with some of the tracks that shaped our sound like the laid-back rhythms of Sublime and Bob Marley, as well as a few unexpected, high-energy pivots like Childish Gambino’s song Sober.

The energy from the crowd was unmatched, and a huge shout-out goes to the local sound crew. They were absolute pros—everything from the monitors to the front-of-house mix was dialed in and punchy from the first note to the last.

As the sun finished its descent, the mountain air decided to join the show. The wind kicked up big time toward the end of our set, turning the stage into a bit of a wind tunnel. We were scrambling mid-song to gaffer-tape our setlists to the stage floor just to keep the show on track!

It was the perfect "live music" moment—raw, windy, and full of soul. Huge thanks to everyone who came out to share the sunset with us. We’ll see you back in the valley soon.
